Ocala’s Historic Walking Tours: A Valentine’s Day Special

Fort King played a highly strategic role in the Seminole Wars, and as a result, Ocala was established. There are over 150 years of Ocala rich history that are sure to fascinate locals and visitors alike. For a glimpse into some of this history, consider taking one of Ocala’s historic tours.

Ocala Main Street offers historic walking tours each month, and this month they are offering a Valentine’s Special. On Saturday, February 12, 2022, there will be two tour sessions offered. The first tour session is from 10 am-12 pm and the second is from 3 pm-5 pm. The tours begin at Stella’s Modern Pantry (20 SW Broadway St.) and end at The Keep (36 SW 1st Ave.). This two-hour historic walking tour includes 4, 2 oz. wine pours, and chocolate from a local Ocala chocolatier. You and your valentine are sure to enjoy this event, but spots are limited so get your tickets soon. Tickets are $35.00 per person and each tour is limited to 12 individuals only.
