Ocala’s Student and Emerging Artist Exhibition
Supporting local artists is a wonderful way to connect and contribute to your community. Ocala has so many skilled artists, and the latest exhibition presented by the City of Ocala and the Magnolia Art Exchange sets out to celebrate the student and emerging artists in our community.
From Wednesday, May 11 through Friday, July 15 the 2022 Student and Emerging Artist Exhibition will be on display at City Hall, 110 SE Watula Ave., Ocala, FL 34471. From 8 a.m.-to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, visitors can experience the work of students and emerging artists related to this year’s theme, “Content of Character.” Most of the artwork will be available for purchase.
The exhibition’s opening reception will take place on Tuesday, May 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the first and second floor lobbies of City Hall. Guests will have the opportunity to view the exhibition, have complimentary refreshments, and enjoy the music of percussionist Sean Thomas. There will be an award ceremony at 6 p.m. in City Hall’s first-floor lobby. We hope you will be able to attend and support these emerging artists in our community.
